So I replied to my suspension letter via email on the same day I received it and also informed them that I wanted to appeal. I finally got a reply a couple of days ago.
They have agreed to an appeal hearing which will be chaired by Mr Walker and "at least two other Party officers will be present".
He is also going to "check my own records for evidence supporting the statements you make in your reply". Well Adam if you struggle to find it, I have it all here so don't worry.
The meeting will take place at a location convenient to me with at least 14 days notice, which is great, as it's going to take me a fair bit of time to print off and collate all my evidence.
I did reply to the letter, again, the same day I received it. I requested that due to the nature of my original and subsequent complaints that the "Party officers" who attend would have to be impartial and agreeable to me. He agreed to this and will suggest people to me to which I can say yay or nay.
I made an additional request that I should also be permitted to have a representative with me. This was initially refused, but after another email explaining that again, due to the nature of my complaint, that it would benefit both sides if I have someone present. Mr Walker has agreed to this condition and I am allowed to take someone with me, as long as they are a Party member and I let him know who they are.
So there you have it, I now just need to wait to hear when the hearing will be and we can crack on and finally sort out this whole, sorry mess.
For those of you who will doubt the contents of this particular article and there will be some, I have the letters I have received, emails both sent and received by me which confirm everything I have said here. I actually think that you should all know me better than that by now, I don't do lies.
