If It's Not One Thing.......It's Your Mother

Love them or hate them, we all have them. 

Now my Mother, God love her, is the quintessential "lady who lunches", a regular Hyacinth Bucket, ooops I mean Bouquet, so much so that she cleans the house BEFORE the cleaner comes. She is well respected locally, has been the Lady Vice Captain, Lady Captain and Lady President of the local golf club, she is heavily involved in local charity work and has always been........well, you know, a bit of a snob.

She is very intelligent, loves crosswords, prides herself on always looking smart and is very well spoken, a real stickler for people speaking nicely and  correctly and she loathes foul language. 

In fact, the worst thing I ever heard her say was when I was about 9. The whole family were sat around the table in the breakfast room playing Monopoly when she came out with the line, "I think you have me by the short and curlies here Arthur (my Father), my sister, then about 13, erupted into hysterics and had to explain to Mother what it meant. So I think you get the picture.

What does all this have to do with the price of fish you say? Well, I had another little gem sent to me overnight which shows a comment from the Mother of Rachel Firth aka Welly and on/off girlfriend of the gorgeous Danny Cooke aka Gangster.

I love this shot on a couple of levels. Not only does it prove that comments are STILL being deleted and people banned from the Official Party Facebook page, even though the lovely June blames me for it some 5 months after I left the page as a moderator, another thing I have said all along, it doesn't matter if you are a supporter, member, official or whatever, if they don't like what you have written, it and you will be deleted, them's the rules you see.

It also shows the type of low grade, repugnant individual that I am trying to deal with here. If I had ever heard my Mother utter the phrase, "you cock suckin whores", I think I would have instantly dropped dead on the spot. 

In her defence, she did at least spell whores correctly, that can be a tough one for people of a "certain" intelligence level.

Anyhoo, that's all for now. Hopefully I should be receiving some of the items for my magnificent ferret maze today which means I can crack on with it.


I have also received the post and got................ wait for it...............


.....lots of junk mail and a "Sorry you are leaving us" letter from Npower. Nothing from the Party again, fingers crossed for tomorrow.
